12th South Historic Home is my Usual Nashville Go-To Host/owner Carol is great but her popular place was booked (see more about Carol’s home and the area here ) when Kate visited, so we stayed here and greatly enjoyed AnnaLiisa and Rory’s home. However, they will be moving in the next month, so there are only a few dates left to book the Charming Cottage in 12th/Belmont.)
Lovely Little House on Lillian is aptly named. Loved the stay and host Andrea is very helpful.
Thompson Station was the bucolic respite I hoped it would be. Hosts Edy and Chris are great.

Your coverage reminds me (again) that I really must get down to explore Nashville. Clearly there’s much more to experience than just the Grand Ole Opry 🙂

There really is. 🙂 Nashville has grown so much in the 3 years I was gone that I barely recognized it, but it’s fun exploring the changes.

Minus the hot yoga and horseback riding, I wish I had this information when I visited Nashville for a conference (1,200 Social Security lawyers at the Opryland Hotel–ugh). I guess it’s technically outside of Nashville, but I did make it to The Hermitage to indulge my inner history geek.

The Hermitage is nice. I lived near there for almost 30 years. 1200 SS lawyers in Opryland Hotel must have been an experience! 🙂 Now I’m on the west side near Cheekwood and enjoying my first fall full of color and cooler weather in a long time.
